Devil's Comet races towards Earth at incredible speed: What is known

A massive comet, known as 12P/Pons-Brooks, is currently hurtling towards Earth at an astonishing speed of 21 kilometers per second.

It has earned the moniker "Devil's Comet" because of its peculiar structure and appearance.

In June 2024, the comet is projected to make its closest approach to Earth, coming within 43 million kilometers of our planet
