Simone Biles gets nominated for BBC's World Sport Star Award

Yes, that's right! Legendary gymnast Simone Biles has been nominated for the prestigious BBC Sports Personality of the Year award, specifically for the World Sport Star category.  

This nomination is a recognition of Biles' impressive comeback after a two-year break from gymnastics to focus on her mental health.

In October 2023, she returned to competition in style, winning four gold medals and a silver medal at the World Championships.

This accomplishment made her the most decorated gymnast in history, surpassing the previous record of 33 medals held by Vitaly Scherbo.
