Zach Ertz rumors: Former Cardinals TE clears waivers, Patrick Mahomes' Chiefs among suitors for 3x Pro Bowler

Former Arizona Cardinals tight end Zach Ertz cleared waivers on November 10, 2023, and is now a free agent. This means that any NFL team can sign him without having to trade for him or give up any compensation.

According to multiple reports, several teams are interested in signing Ertz, including the Kansas City Chiefs, Baltimore Ravens, and Philadelphia Eagles. –

Kansas City Chiefs: The Chiefs are in need of a tight end after losing Travis Kelce to a season-ending injury. Ertz would be a solid replacement for Kelce, and he would give quarterback Patrick Mahomes another weapon in the passing game.

Baltimore Ravens: The Ravens are also looking for a tight end after losing Mark Andrews to a season-ending injury.

Philadelphia Eagles: The Eagles are reportedly interested in bringing Ertz back to Philadelphia. Ertz played for the Eagles from 2013 to 2021, and he was a key contributor to their Super Bowl victory in 2018.

Ertz is expected to make a decision about his future soon. He is reportedly considering all of his options, and he will likely sign with the team that he believes will give him the best chance to win a championship.

Ertz is a three-time Pro Bowler and a Super Bowl champion. He is a proven player who can still make a significant impact on an NFL offense. He is a good receiver, a good blocker, and a valuable leader.
