Leavenworth, a small town in Chelan County, Washington, with less than 2,300 residents but was created to resemble a German Bavarian hamlet and seem like a Hallmark Christmas movie.
In late November, Leavenworth becomes a winter wonderland with over 500,000 brilliant lights and a snowy scene. The town is surrounded by pine trees and mountains, making it scenic.
Leavenworth was awarded the “Prettiest American town to visit during the winter” by Country Living and the “most festive” town in America by Next Vacay.
